ERAC SWG GRI is a\u00a0<span id=\"result_box\" lang=\"en\">successor<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/transparency\/regexpert\/index.cfm?do=groupDetail.groupDetail&amp;groupID=698\">Helsinki Group on Gender in Research and Innovation<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<span lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">consists of representatives of the Member States and Associated Countries, and the European Commission.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">There is a substantial overlay between ERAC SWG GRI members and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/genderaction.eu\/about-project\/consortium\/\">GENDERACTION c<\/a><span title=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/genderaction.eu\/about-project\/consortium\/\">onsortium and associate members<\/a>. Among\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/genderaction.eu\/about-project\/objectives\/\">GENDERACTIONs\u00b4goals<\/a>\u00a0is to support capacity building in gender equality in R&amp;I among responsible national representatives and provide mutual learning opportunities to maximize existing experience among policy makers and other relevant stakeholders. The head of the ERAC SWG GRI is Marcela Linkov\u00e1, the coordinator of GENDERACTION project.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>OUR ACHIEVEMENTS:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Extension of deadline for the Czech Science Foundation\u2019s submission of project proposals;<\/li>\n<li>Organization of the Senate Conference on Parenting, Care and Scientific Profession;<\/li>\n<li>The possibility to interrupt a postdoctoral grant on account of maternity\/parental leave;<\/li>\n<li>Inclusion of the topic of gender equality in science into the Government Strategy for Gender Equality 2014\u20132020;<\/li>\n<li>Initiation of and support for promoting gender equality in research (Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, Czech Globe, University of Chemistry and Technology Prague);<\/li>\n<li>Debates on sexisms on campus (Beauty Contests, sexist PR of universities etc).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of our goals is to improve the policy making process in the Czech Republic in terms of gender mainstreaming of national policies for research, development and innovation and to increase gender balance in decision-making and policy-making processes.
