Mentoring programme for early career researchers – Sign up now!
We would like to invite you to the fifth year of the Mentoring programme for early career researchers (PhD students and postdocs), which is coordinated by the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
The aim of the program is to support the professional development of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, help them launch their scientific career, and clarify its direction.
Beside the cooperation between a mentee and a mentor, the program also contains courses and workshops dedicated to the professional and personal development (e.g. project management, communication skills, and identification of your strengths or burnout prevention).
Participation is free of charge. The program is open for Czech and foreign researchers from all fields and all Czech institutions. Cross-institutional networking is a key part of the program.

The new round will start with introductory workshops which will help mentees to create their mentoring plan for 2020. The introductory workshop for the group of mentees from social sciences and liberal arts and the workshop for mentees from natural and technical sciences will be held at the end of February/beginning of March (on weekend). The program will run until the end of 2020.
